One Page Strategic Plan
Four pillars, one page, monitored live in ClickUp instead of once a quarter. The plan the company runs against.

Operations Executive of the Year
Summary
When I joined Snaplistings as Director of Operations in October 2022, the mandate was growth and operational scaling across every operational domain at once. The first thing that needed to exist was a plan everyone could see. Working with the CEO, I co-developed the 2023 One Page Strategic Plan: four pillars, Client Retention, Sales, Operations, and Team Member Growth, on a single page, with objectives and measures under each. Then I built it into ClickUp so that every workstream in the company links back to one of those objectives and progress is monitored in real time rather than at the quarterly offsite.
Context
Strategy usually lives in a deck. It gets opened at the offsite, argued over, agreed, and closed until the next one. Meanwhile the actual work of the company happens in a task system that has never heard of the plan. The two do not touch, so nobody can say in week six whether the quarter is on track, and the plan is only ever judged in hindsight.
What I built
- A one-page plan with four pillars: Client Retention, Sales, Operations, and Team Member Growth, each with its objectives, owners, and measures, co-developed with the CEO
- The plan built into ClickUp as a live structure, so every project and task in the company is linked to a strategic objective rather than floating free
- Real-time progress monitoring against each pillar, visible to leadership without anyone assembling a report
- The weekly business rhythm run against the plan, so the document that sets direction is the same one that tracks it
How it works
01
Four pillars
Client Retention, Sales, Operations, and Team Member Growth. Everything the company does has to belong to one of them.
02
Objectives
Each pillar carries a small set of objectives with an owner and a measure, all on one page.
03
Into ClickUp
The plan becomes the top of the ClickUp hierarchy. Every workstream links up to an objective.
04
Live progress
Progress rolls up in real time, so the weekly meeting reads the plan instead of rebuilding it.
Detail
The plan and the work in the same system
The idea is not the four pillars. Most companies have something like them. The idea is that the plan is not a document at all: it is the structure the task system is organized under, so alignment is a property of where the work lives rather than something you ask people to remember. When a new project is created, the first question is which objective it serves, and if the answer is none, that is worth knowing before the work starts.
Outcome
The plan became the thing the company runs against week to week rather than a document it revisits, with every facet of the business tied to a strategic objective and progress visible in real time. The TITAN Business Awards named me 2024 Operations Executive of the Year in the Executives and Professionals category on the strength of this work.
