My role
Founder and VP, Marketing and External Affairs
Previously Treasurer, through the 2026 handoff, and Production Manager.
Collective
Threshold Theatre Collective, Inc. reimagines the possibilities of theatre. We provide a collaborative environment for artists outside their daily hustle, while producing works of exceptional quality. Our mission is to craft experiences that inspire creators and audiences alike, for the benefit of our community.
My role
Previously Treasurer, through the 2026 handoff, and Production Manager.
Financial foundation
Set up the books, ran treasurer reporting and budget analysis for the board, and assembled the documentation behind the New York sales tax exemption. Handed a clean set of books to the next treasurer in 2026.
Marketing and external affairs
Brand, audience communications, board recruitment materials, and the company's first committee open call.
Production
Produced and production-managed the first full production, and programmed it. The technical detail lives on the Production page.
Ticketing
The company needed to sell tickets for its first show and the options were enterprise-priced or unusable, so I built the site, the ticketing, and the checkout. It sold the tickets and ran the door, and it grew into Impresario.
Education
A one-hour workshop for motivated beginners, so the people running the board understand what the board is doing.
The five co-founders. The company is run by its board, and everyone on it also works on the shows.

Governance, finance, marketing, and operations for a nonprofit are the same muscles as the Work side of this site. That is not a coincidence.
